Singer/songwriter James King is a new name in music, a talented Brit who’s keen on invading these United States. He’s been in NYC recently on a small US tour, even playing the infamous Webster Hall in Manhattan.
It has been announced that James King has been selected for his songs to feature on Caffe Nero’s playlist in there 750 stores throughout the UK. This fantastic news came after returning from playing at the Coffee Festival at Webster Hall, New York.
Caffe Nero who aim to create a continental European coffee house atmosphere and a friendly place to meet up that has something of a ‘buzz’ will now be listening to the talented James Kings whilst enjoying there drinks.
James King is back in the UK after playing at Webster Hall in New York, which is one of North America’s most prestigious and historic entertainment venues operating continuously as a performance hall and nightclub since 1886. Located in New York City’s East Village, this architectural landmark hosts every type of major event and performances.
James King will performing on the same stage that the likes of Rudimental, UB40, John Batiste to name a few. This Yorkshire lad who opened the Sundown Festival in September is making a splash over the ocean and will be wowing New York with his original songs and the covers. James King is one to keep an eye on as he will be a huge success here and abroad.
On the 11th September Future Radio featured James King regarding his recent success as the winner of the Sundown Festival 2015. James King opened the event on Main Stage where the likes of Tinie Tempah and Ella Henderson where also performing. In front of a crowd of 30,000 James King performed his own songs and a cover of Johnny Cash ‘Folsom Prison Blues’.
After his performance James King did an acoustic session in the VIP tent for the press and celebs, James King wowed both audiences and he is one to watch out for in the future!

James King wowed the room at the Sanctum Hotel in London on the night of his EP Preview, James played 4 of his own songs then totally smashed covers of Johnny Cash and Ben Howard. Everyone in the room were tapping there feet, clapping there hands and singing along to James catchy tunes.
Among the audience were bloggers, Radio Presenters, fellow artists and music managers who were all impressed with the quality performance by James King and his band. James who also did an acoustic performance showed the versatility of this up and coming artist who will hold his own in any venue.
James King is one to watch for the future as tonight he showed what a true artist is!
